Well finally the news that we have all been waiting for was announced Friday that Hamilton would officially be moving into the red zone meaning that as of Tuesday February 16th photography studios in the Hamilton area would be allowed to be opened for Client Services!
This is very exciting news! The studio will be opened for sessions:
Monday to Saturday – 9am to 3pm Evenings also available Tuesday and Thursdays.
We contacted all of our clients that were pre-registered with us and your new dates have been added to our calendar and emailed to you.
We are now officially open for bookings in February to the public and you can now book directly on our website under the booking calendar.
This is the news we have been waiting for…. Hamilton has been released into Stage 2 of the provincial business openings as of Friday June 19th…… and Treasured Memories Photography studio will be opened as of Friday June 19th… and we are ready for you!!!
We do have limited hours, and are currently only scheduling our priority waiting list with one newborn a day so that we can properly clean. As always we take the utmost care during our sessions, and that hasn’t changed. Our staff will wear masks, during your session whenever we are not able to social distance at 6 feet away; however you do not need to wear masks. We do have them available for you to wear if you so choose too when not in front of the camera. For maternity or milestone sessions, we make sure to space out our appointments and all outfits and gowns are cleaned after use.
Our studio is cleaned and sanitized after every session. All clothing and material that has touched the baby skin, is always washed with gentle dye free soap.
Recently I took a covid test to ensure to all my clients and myself that I am healthy and and safe to go back to work with your babies. I have also taken a Covid-19 and Pandemic Awareness Training workshop on June 1, 2020 to better prepare for opening and working with your family in a safe way.
Rest assured if I or my staff are ever ill, we will not conduct sessions and take the proper quarantine protocol. In addition, we do have a health and safety screening questionnaire that ALL clients must fill in 24 – 48 hours before their session to ensure that they are also healthy to attend their session. We also ask that if you or your family are ill to please reschedule your session.
I have been a Professional Photographer for 8 years and have worked with Babies and Children for over 14 years . Safety, cleanliness and a courteous staff has always been our priority even before Covid19.
I am so excited to get back into the studio and working with all of the wonderful Treasured Memories clients…

Well this is the news that we have been waiting for!!!! Finally some movement into reopening businesses in Ontario…. Today’s announcement included the regions in Ontario that would be moving into Stage 2 as of June 12th.
Unfortunately Hamilton was not included in the regional openings (grouped into the Golden Horseshoe)… Though this means that we will most likely need to wait for a June 19th or even a June 26th opening… the GOOD news from today’s announcement was that Studio Photography has been included in the Stage 2 opening!
This is amazing news as the photographers community has been waiting to see where we fit in the reopening.
What does this mean for Treasured Memories? That once Stage 2 officially opens for the Hamilton Area we will be back in the studio servicing Maternity, Newborns, Cake Smashes and Portrait Sessions….
We do currently have a Priority Wait List for all those that have already registered during the lock down. So we will have limited openings in the first month or so of reopening.

Just wanted to THANK everyone that was so supportive over the last 3 months.. it still amazes me how much so many of you have become like family… and for sure good friends! Though things might be a little different when we reopen.. I am so excited to finally be able to work with all my wonderful clients….
