So little Christian made his visit to the studio yesterday. Only 5 days new and cute as a button! It was wonderful to see him again so soon too as I had visited him while he was in the hospital for his Fresh 48 – Birth Photo session. If you missed it… check the lovely video out here…
He was such a great sleeper and despite a little pee here and there this little guy was a ROCK STAR for his very first photo session!!! During my custom newborn sessions I always ask questions about what the clients are hoping for from their session… if there is a theme to their nursery or special items they might want their little one photographed with… and after getting to know Melissa and Jay during their maternity session and chatting before their newborn session began to learn a few things about mama and little Christian… first mama is “obsessed” as she said about Giraffes… (not a common obsession but ok!!!) And as luck would have it…. I have a little giraffe outfit for little Christian to wear during his session….
And another thing I found out was that Melissa and Christian’s Grandpa are really into fishing and that little Christian middle name Miguel comes from the Island São Miguel in Portagul where Jay’s family comes from…. so naturally we had to ensure that we included something in his session that represented this… and hopefully this is what they had envisioned….
And finally their first official family portrait….
“First we had each other… Then we had you…. Now we have EVERYTHING!!!”
