Year in Review – 2014 – Hamilton Ontario Photographer

2014 has been an absolutely amazing year here at Treasured Memories Photography. We photographed a whopping 153 sessions this year!  Including 46 beautiful new arrivals ……

Newborns - 2014

So many wonderful things have happen this year for me… starting off in early January with signing the lease to our studio space and going full-time….

Since starting Treasured Memories Photography in 2012 it has always been my dream to one day have a professional photography studio and to take my passion for photography and babies and do this full time!  So after two years of working out of my home studio and being confined to one small room in my home.. it was a dream come true   having a 800′ studio space and going full-time.  I love being able to have multiple set ups and an area for shooting, a client lounge area, storage for my prop collection and even my own desk…

2014 was also a year for educational growth as well.  Completely my studio lighting course and I was excited to attend my first workshop by photography award winning Stephanie Robin Photography as well as observing newborn session workshops by amazing photographers Kelly Brown of Little Pieces Photography and Ana Brandt Photography.

Another great achievement in 2014 was first being Nominated for the 2014 Hamilton Spectators Readers Choice Awards for “Best Photographer” and “Best Photo Studio”.  And then placing 3rd place in the 2014 Hamilton Community News Readers Choice Awards for “Best Photographer” was such an amazing feeling!  And all of this could never have happened without all of your support over the last few years… so thank you!

Had this gorgeous mama in for her maternity session yesterday at the studio.  She is just so stunning!  Only one more week until she gets to meet her little one… gender is still a surprise!  And of course mama is hoping for a New Years Baby!  Crossing my fingers for you Vanessa….

Such a busy month for newborns…. so happy to meet this little guy Milo yesterday… my very last newborn for 2014…. I had such a lovely time working with him and his parents…. took him a little to get to sleep but slept to peacefully once he was….
